

It can be quite daunting to come a long to your first session as you do not always know what to expect, so we ensure that it is an enjoyable experience as possible (remember we want you to join so we are going to do our most to make you feel part of our club so you want to come back). The first session at Southampton Jiu Jitsu Club is a martial arts packed introduction into what we do! The Jiu Jitsu techniques will be a mixture of restraint, grappling, striking and grab release moves that are taught in order to give you a hands on view of what Southampton Jitsu Club has to offer; which we think will wet your appetite for wanting loads more! Just wear some comfortable clothing (like what you would wear to the gym or a Gi if you have one) and just come along and train in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. You do not need to be fit before you train with us, you will get fit through training with us! If you just want to observe what we do; spectators are more than welcome. Either just turn up on the day or contact us and we will keep an eye out for you!
